Our president is Virginia Millonig, PhD, RN, CPNP, a leading expert with over 30 years of experience in clinical practice and more than 30 years of experience helping medical professionals achieve their certification and education goals. She leads the HLA team in assuring each program is structured for high comprehension and retention. Dr. Millonig has guided HLA to success in its mission: to provide the most effective nursing certification preparation programs available today.

Dr. Millonig has held a variety of leadership positions, including President of NAPNAP; Director of an NP Program; and Director of the Department of Continuing Education at a large university. She also has extensive educational expertise, with experience as a professor in a graduate faculty.

Today she serves on the executive boards of professional associations, hospital and health care agencies, and educational institutions. In addition, she has appeared on radio and television as a spokesperson for various health issues, authored numerous articles and books, and testified before Congress on a variety of issues which affect the delivery of health care.
